Today on Feminine Roadmap Gina spent a precious hour with Helene Berger, a woman who shares her story of hope as she navigated the diagnosis and decline of her husband to Alzheimer’s. Helene and her husband Adi had been married for over 50 years when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and while the diagnosis was a shock, Helene was determined to make Adi’s last years the most wonderful years. This story is one of courage, determination, love and persistence as Helene sought to keep Adi’s life full and maintain his dignity throughout the process. Helene’s story is for anyone who is caregiving for a loved one in any capacity to be encouraged and understand that joy and hope can be at the heart of the journey. Grab a cuppa something wonderful and join the conversation. http://www.feminineroadmap.com/episode102/
