Today on Feminine Roadmap guest Susie Rinehart shares how she learned to reclaim her joy after a cancer diagnosis that threatened to take her voice and very likely her life. Her diagnosis caused her to consider her own voice- when had she let her voice go and what had she been using her voice for from a purpose stand point. Susie found that the beauty in her cancer was that it gave her a renewed sense of focus and purpose enabling her to reconnect with health boundaries and standing up for her yes. One of her most powerful tools was holding a space for her emotions by giving herself quiet time every single morning to reflect and be present with her feelings. Her husband asked her a question that she has used to bring greater clarity to her experience, “Everyone is going to die but how is it that you want to live?” There it is, the message that Susie continues to share: choose joy over fear and brave over perfect. So grab a cuppa something wonderful, a girlfriend and listen to this incredible story of bravery and joy. http://www.feminineroadmap.com/episode107/
