Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about finding love after loss. No matter what age you are, losing a spouse is a difficult experience and the journey through the grief is very personal. For many people, after they have grieved, they find themselves desiring to find love again. Finding love after loss can be a challenging journey to navigate – from online dating to blind dates to social events- and what works best for one person may not work for another. Today’s guest Susan S. Etkin explains that finding love after loss later in life is even more interesting say the least. Susan found herself widowed at 58 and it took her time to wade through her grief. She used writing as a tool to process and express what she was going through, the result is a novel that follows a woman in midlife who is trying to find love after loss. Susan believes that it’s important to have hope, that life is a gift and that it should be lived. She encourages listeners to go out there and see who might be waiting for you! While Susan hasn’t yet found her love after loss, she has found joy in writing about women who do.
