Today on Feminine Roadmap Gina and her guest Mia Hewitt talk about how to get unstuck. Mia believes that anything you think is the problem really isn’t the problem actually because due to our past history and beliefs we can often find ourselves trying to solve the wrong problems. We have a tendency to look outside of ourselves to the circumstances and situations around us as the issue when in actuality it is really internal. Since we are not looking at the right causes we can feel stuck because we think we should be able to figure things out, think our way through. Mia encourages listeners to consider looking at that feeling stuck differently. If you want to know how to get unstuck, she points to the traumas to our hearts and minds as children that have become the walls we hide behind to protect ourselves. Trauma by her definition is as simple as broken trust or the strong presence of shame or guilt that in the moment we attach to our self image, we believe something is “wrong with me”. When we come to realize many of these traumas are misconceptions and misunderstandings we can begin to break through the shackles of trauma so we become unstuck and begin to shine our light from a place of freedom. Grab a cuppa something wonderful, a friend and a journal, listen to how you can get unstuck! http://www.feminineroadmap.com/episode138/
