Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking to the amazing Dierdre Wolownick  about the sharp end of life.

In part 2 of our conversation, Dierdre talks about her big climb up El Capitan and the journey of overcoming her fear to accomplish that feat at 66 and then again at 70 years old.

“Only you know  what you’re capable of”, she says,  “and you’ll never know if you don’t try it.”

Dierdre has created a life after 65 that reflects her belief that age is irrelevant, that anybody can do anything by little baby steps. One of the challenges is to know yourself and block out the media’s representation of aging, to have the courage to think outside of the box. She is passionate about developing the mindset of digging deep and recognizing that the battle is you against you.

This episode challenges the typical idea of what an older woman can do. If you’re looking for someone who is challenging the status quo, living an extraordinary life and facing down her fears after retirement, join us. Grab a cuppa something wonderful, find a cozy spot and get ready to be inspired!
